Contact for personal data matters

The Brazil China New Era Chamber of Commerce and Innovation (CBCNECI), CNPJ 68.046.593/0001-60, headquartered at Rua São Luiz Gonzaga, 398, São Cristóvão, Rio de Janeiro/RJ, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide in the membership application form: identification data (name, nationality, document), contact data (e-mail, phone, city and country), organizational data (when applying as an organization or institution), and the information about interests, objectives and motivation.
3. Purpose and legal basis
The data is used exclusively to analyse your membership application and for institutional contact related to it, as authorised in the form itself. The legal basis is consent (Art. 7, I, of Brazilian Law No. 13.709/2018 — LGPD).
4. Storage and security
Applications are stored in a secure database, with access restricted to the CBCNECI institutional team responsible for the review. We adopt reasonable technical measures to protect the data against unauthorised access.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only when necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
6. Your rights
Under the LGPD, you may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation or deletion of your personal data, as well as withdraw your consent, through the contact channels below.
7. Retention
We keep the data for the period needed to review the application and manage the institutional relationship. Applications that are not approved may be deleted upon the data subject's request.
8. Access measurement (first-party analytics)
This site uses first-party measurement only — no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising third parties. Detailed behavioural recording happens only after explicit consent via “Accept analytics”; choosing “Essential only” means no session or navigation event is stored, and the site remains fully functional. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, we honour that choice by default.
9. Analytics identifiers and technical data
With your consent we store pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers in your browser (first-party local storage, unrelated to other sites) and record: pages viewed, entry and exit pages, referrer without query parameters, campaign parameters (UTM), interactions such as WhatsApp, e-mail, download and call-to-action clicks, scroll milestones and engagement time, plus technical browser/device data (browser, operating system, device type, viewport/screen, time zone, languages, connection type) and approximate location that hosting infrastructure may provide. IP addresses are never stored raw: on the server they are converted into a hash and a masked prefix, for security and access distinction only. We never capture passwords, text typed before a form is submitted, clipboard, contacts, microphone, camera, or any hidden fingerprinting technique.
10. Purpose, legal basis and analytics retention
Purposes: institutional audience metrics, site improvement, technical diagnostics and security, and understanding interest in the Chamber's agenda. The legal basis for optional analytics is consent (art. 7, I, LGPD). Detailed analytics records follow a 180-day retention policy with administrative purging; links required for a membership application or member record follow the applicable institutional retention. We do not sell data.
11. Withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time under “Privacy preferences” in the site footer. Choosing “Essential only” stops behavioural collection immediately.
