The Brazil–China New Era Chamber of Commerce and Innovation — CBCNECI and the São Gonçalo Commercial and Business Association — ACESG signed an Institutional Cooperation Agreement on September 24, 2026, to connect São Gonçalo’s business community with opportunities for exchanges with China.
The partnership brings together ACESG’s work with local businesses and CBCNECI’s Brazil–China coordination. Its purpose is to develop joint initiatives in business promotion, internationalization, innovation and exchange, with each initiative defined by the two institutions together.
The areas covered include foreign trade, business training, digital transformation, industry and services, logistics, sustainability, the creative economy and business tourism. The agreement also covers technical, educational and cultural exchanges related to business activities.
The institutions may conduct needs assessments and opportunity studies, organize business meetings and connect with research institutions. Activities will be organized through work plans, with specific responsibilities and conditions for each initiative.
For CBCNECI, the agreement was signed by its President, Su Ziliang, and its Vice-President, Paulo Alves Nascimento Junior. ACESG was represented by its President, Evanildo Barreto. The document provided records all three electronic signatures as completed on September 24.
The cooperation establishes an institutional framework to build opportunities and help businesses prepare. Results will depend on the projects developed and partner interest; the agreement does not guarantee investment, credit or future transactions.
